PYPM Performs at Art for Relief Benefit at The George School
"10 Things I Want to Say to a Black Woman" by Joshua Bennett (PYPM Alum)
April 9th Art for Relief Benefit to Support PYPM & Showcase Talent
Join us at this annual fundraiser presented by The George School in Newtown, PA. The 2011 Art for Relief event will benefit the Philly Youth Poetry Movement, with a silent auction, talent showcase and special performance by PYPM.
Featuring Local Artists, Student and Faculty Work
Silent Art Auction at 6:00 pm in the Meetinghouse
Performance at 7:30 pm in the Walton Center
Admission is free, donations encouraged
Every year Art for Relief chooses an organization to support and raise money for. The silent auction and performance showcase runs completely on the help of guests and sponsors who donate pieces of artwork to make the night possible. They rely heavily on donations because they ask for no admission fee.
They are accepting artwork up until Monday, April 4, 2011. They are also accepting food donations. Please contact them artforrelief@georgeschool.org to make a contribution.
