The Philly Youth Poets are ready to head to international Brave New Voices Poetry Festival & Slam in Los Angeles this July to reclaim their title as the best youth poetry slam team in the world! Previously the 2007 champions, the Philly team fell just short of the championship title in 2008 and 2009, but are gearing up to remind everyone that Philly poetry is a force to be reckoned with.

Join these competitive, creative spirits as they slam at University of Pennsylvania Cohen Hall on Friday, May 14 from 6 pm to 10 pm, to find out who will take that fateful trip to California to represent the Philly team. Tickets are only $10 for youth under 18, and $15 for adults.
