PYPM to Host Fundraising Happy Hour at Club Adesso on Wed., Dec. 22
Join Alumni and staff of the Philly Youth Poetry Movement for the first of many fundraising events at Club Adesso, on Wed., Dec 22nd from 5-7pm for a Poetic Happy Hour. Check out performances from PYPM alumni, and help support us as our organization continues to grow, providing programs and opportunities for Philadelphia's youth.
All proceeds from the event will go directly to youth programming and events such as:
-Weekly workshops
-Monthly open mics & poetry slams
-Brave New Voices International Teen Poetry Slam & Festival (Jul.19-24, 2011, San Francisco, CA)
-Dream Big Literary Arts Festival (Jan. 14-17, 2011, Philadelphia, PA)
-Supplies for the youth poets
