PYPM Staff

The Philly Youth Poetry Movement is 100% volunteer-run and has been operating out of in-kind donated spaces for workshops and poetry events since our founding in 2006. PYPM is led by five PYPM volunteers who donate their time to provide literary arts programming and mentorship to teens throughout Philadelphia.

We are teachers, poets, performers, writers, activists, creative artists, mentors and community leaders, with backgrounds in education and the arts.

In order for PYPM to become a sustainable community organization and hub of creative expression for Philadelphia teens, we are seeking resources for proper staffing and operational funds. Our goal is to create at least 2 full-time staff positions by the end of 2012. You can help us meet this goal by donating, here.
